Spiritual gifts are special abilities given by the Holy Spirit and distributed to every Christian according to God’s design and grace for the common good of the body of Christ.

How do I know if I have a spiritual gift?

Every Christian has at least one spiritual gift (1 Corinthians 12:7).

How do I discover my spiritual gifts?

There are many ways for us to discover our spiritual gifts. Listed below are some of the tools you can use in the process:

  • Spiritual Gift Assessments

Spiritual gift assessment tests can be helpful tools for us in our journey of discovering our spiritual gifts. Please take a moment to check out the following resources:

    We can gain valuable insight from those around us -our friends, family, and those who serve with us in ministry. They may be able to see gifts in us that we can’t see for ourselves.

  • Take a “Test Drive”

One of the best ways to discover our gifts is to try different ministry areas for a month or two to see if they are a good fit for us.

Once I have discovered my spiritual gifts, what should I do?

Use and develop your gifts! There are many opportunities for you to use your gifts. If there is an area where you would like to become involved but don’t see listed, God could be calling you to birth that ministry!
