On Thursday, October 16th, we will participate in the Cardboard Box City Event at the State Fairgrounds. This event is in conjunction with other area churches to promote the awareness of homelessness in our teens. On any given night in Minnesota there are over 2,700 youths, age 17 and younger that experience homelessness. We will collect pledges for this event which will pay for our "rent" to sleep out in a tent or cardboard box at the fairgrounds. A great band will be on hand along with food. No cost for the event receipt to collect pledges. This is a great opportunity! Sign up by the Youth Room.
November 21st - Annual Lock-In
Here comes the Annual Lock-In! We will have a theater company coming in with a great performance, hopefully a band this year and sumo wrestling once again! Bring your gaming systems, a pillow and most importantly a friend! Be watching for sign-ups!

Life on the Table
Our senior high youth gather on Sunday mornings at 11:00am at a local coffee shop for food and fellowship while they talk about current issues they face on a daily basis. Meet at the south entry at 11:00 a.m. Be sure to invite a friend! Starts again on September 7th.
Monday Night Madness
Monday Night Madness has some new and awesome curriculum! If you like H20, you will love this! It is called "UP!" It's a DVD based study based on some of the most popular Christian bands for youth. Listen to their powerful messages and discuss as a group when finished. 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Mondays in the Youth Room. Meal is included for only $2.00. Bring a friend!
Guys and Girls Bible Studies
Chad Johnston will lead the Senior High guys in the Youth Room and Nancy will lead the girls at church. Meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Study Hall
Every Monday through Thursday from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. during the school year, we have an unstructured study hall time for students to gather and do their homework in a fun environment. Maybe play PS2 if you wish!
Summer Trips
SIGN UP FOR 2009 MISSION TRIP TO DENVER!!!
For those of you who wish to attend, we have already rebooked with YouthWorks for next year and will be going to Denver, CO for urban ministry! We will follow up the trip with an exciting white water rafting trip down the Royal Gorge! The dates are July 12-19, 2009. Cost is yet to be determined. Sign up by the Youth Room as an initial deposit of $30 will be due in September. This trip is open to all going into 9th-12th grades next year! We currently have 26 slots reserved. Do not hesitate to sign up as we probably will not be able to get more spots! We will need 2 male adult leaders and 1 female adult leader for this trip. Be in prayer about this. You will never be the same!!!
Camp Wapo - Our youth in grades 9 or older have an opportunity to attend as a TIM Team. Tim Teamers not only get to have fun at camp but they also get to be junior counselors and help mentor the younger attendees.
