Book Review: The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel
If you make your way to Luther Lounge, you will notice some books in the glass cases that are for sale. One book is of particular notice this time of year is Lee Strobel’s “The Case For Christ”.
Lee was an award-winning journalist at the Chicago Tribune. With a Masters Law from Yale, he shares his spiritual journey from atheism to faith as he sought to answer the question “Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God?
What sets this book apart from other books that address the evidence that shows that Jesus is who he said he was is the style in which this book is written. The book, though chock full of interviews and details, reads more like a novel than a textbook. As you read it, it is almost as if you are along with Lee on these interviews as he asks the tough questions he asked as a skeptic looking for a verdict.
If you believe that Jesus is the son of God , but feel easily threatened by intellectuals and atheists, you may find this book to be a great resource to help you understand how to interpret the evidence and share more clearly what you believe about Jesus as the Son of God
